A square ceiling light in the traditional Chinese style: natural Spanish alabaster panels framed in brass, with carved fretwork bands and round medallion plaques on the sides. The stone glows warm through the shade.

Choose a semi-flush version hung from a brass canopy (15.7 to 31.5 in / 40 to 80 cm square, 16.1 to 20.5 in / 41 to 52 cm high) or a low flush-mount version (15.7 to 23.6 in / 40 to 60 cm square, 6.7 in / 17 cm high).

Yes. The shade is natural Spanish alabaster, so no two fixtures show exactly the same veining and tone.
What sizes are available?+
15.7, 19.7, 23.6 and 31.5 in (40, 50, 60 and 80 cm) square; the flush version is offered in the first three.
How high does it hang?+
The semi-flush versions are 16.1, 16.9, 18.5 and 20.5 in (41, 43, 47 and 52 cm) high overall; the flush version is 6.7 in (17 cm).

Alabaster is a soft, fine-grained mineral that settled in layers over millions of years. Every block carries its own clouds, veins and warmth.

So your shade is one of a kind. Expect its pattern and tone to differ from the photos. That's the signature of real stone.

The light

Switch it on. Watch the stone wake up.

Cut thin, alabaster turns translucent. The light travels through the stone and spreads out, so the whole shade glows a soft, warm amber with no harsh glare.

Lovely item , thought it might have been a bit heavier in construction however it doesn't matter as it is solid wood not chip board or other weak construction. It really is an actual piece of wooden furniture not some flat pack rubbish. Thanks for making a nice set of drawers. I would recommend this vendor.
