Descriptif

Caret Down
Natural alabaster · chandelier

A ring of hand-cut natural alabaster slabs, each one irregular in outline and held in place with a small brass stud. The edges and veining are different on every slab, which gives the fixture an organic, sculptural look rather than a uniform one. It hangs on three brass rods from a round canopy, or on two rods from a brass bar in the linear version.

Choose a round chandelier in 25.6, 31.5 or 39.4 in (65, 80 or 100 cm) diameter, or a linear chandelier in 39.4 or 47.2 in (100 or 120 cm) length for dining tables and kitchen islands. All versions use integrated LED lighting.

Care & installation
Installation by a licensed electrician is recommended; the ceiling must support the fixture weight
Dust with a soft, dry cloth; do not use water or chemical cleaners on the stone, which is porous
Natural alabaster varies in veining and tone, so no two pieces are identical
Switch off power at the breaker before cleaning or changing any light source

Alabaster drum chandelier glowing in a dark room
Natural alabaster

Carved from stone.
Lit from within.

For centuries, alabaster has been the stone chosen for lamps and cathedral windows for one reason: light passes straight through it.

The stone

Formed by nature.
Never repeated.

Alabaster is a soft, fine-grained mineral that settled in layers over millions of years. Every block carries its own clouds, veins and warmth.

So your shade is one of a kind. Expect its pattern and tone to differ from the photos. That's the signature of real stone.

The light

Switch it on. Watch the stone wake up.

Cut thin, alabaster turns translucent. The light travels through the stone and spreads out, so the whole shade glows a soft, warm amber with no harsh glare.

Customer Reviews

Overall rating: 4.7 / 5 from 612 reviews.

Lovely item , thought it might have been a bit heavier in construction however it doesn't matter as it is solid wood not chip board or other weak construction. It really is an actual piece of wooden furniture not some flat pack rubbish. Thanks for making a nice set of drawers. I would recommend this vendor.

With the distance of travel factored in, the goods took a little while to arrive, but they were certainly worth waiting for. The lights were very well packaged and protected in transit. The fittings are of exceptionally good quality, much better than I have previously purchased from well known British DIY giants. They did need to be assembled, but that should not be an issue for a competent DIY'er. All in all, I'm delighted.

Customer photo review of Modern Bathroom Sink Solid Color Porcelain Vessel Bathroom Sink

I like the quality and design of this sink, however the faucet that came with it is made of a cheap plastic and it didn't come with a sink stopper.Rather than chrome or stainless steel. As a matter of fact I am going to purchase a more sturdy faucet.

Customer photo review of Round Coffee Table Brown Nesting Coffee Table Set for Living Room

The table arrived undamaged, despite the long journey from China to Germany. Everything was well packed. The larger of the two tables comes fully assembled. The smaller glass table was quick to put together. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio is very good. I would recommend this product.
