A round globe of natural alabaster on a thin cord, with a round canopy in brass or black. Lit from within, the stone shows amber and gray veining against a warm white glow. It is a small, quiet piece for bedsides, entryways and bar counters, and it works well hung in pairs or in a staggered group.

Pick a globe diameter of 3.9, 4.7 or 5.9 in (10, 12 or 15 cm). The braided cord is about 6.6 ft (2 m) long and is set to your hanging height when you install it; once it is fixed it does not adjust. The light source is a warm 3000K LED.

Alabaster is a soft, fine-grained mineral that settled in layers over millions of years. Every block carries its own clouds, veins and warmth.

So your shade is one of a kind. Expect its pattern and tone to differ from the photos. That's the signature of real stone.

The light

Cut thin, alabaster turns translucent. The light travels through the stone and spreads out, so the whole shade glows a soft, warm amber with no harsh glare.

Lovely item , thought it might have been a bit heavier in construction however it doesn't matter as it is solid wood not chip board or other weak construction. It really is an actual piece of wooden furniture not some flat pack rubbish. Thanks for making a nice set of drawers. I would recommend this vendor.
