Short answer

Decide first whether you need a complete stall (with a base) or an enclosure to fit around an existing shower area. Then choose the shape that fits your corner, the door type that suits your space, and check exactly what's included.

Stall, enclosure or kit: what's the difference?

Type What you get Best for
Shower stall A complete unit, often with its own base A new shower where there isn't one now
Shower enclosure Glass doors and panels Replacing old doors or a curtain around an existing tray
Shower kit, or tub & shower kit Walls and base, sometimes a tub A full replacement in one order

About 6 in 10 of our best sellers include a shower base, and over half include a back wall panel. The "Shower Base Included" and "Back Wall Panel Included" lines in each product's specifications tell you for sure.

01

Which shape fits my bathroom?

Nearly all of ours fit in a corner. Round (quarter-circle) designs save the most floor space because the door curves inward. Rectangular designs give the most room to move inside. Neo-angle designs have an angled front that suits corners with a door or vanity nearby.

02

Which door type should I choose?

Sliding doors, single or double, need no swing space, so they suit small bathrooms; double sliding is our most common type. Pivot and hinged doors swing outward and need clear floor space in front.

03

Framed or semi-frameless?

Framed enclosures (most of our range) have a metal frame around the glass, which is sturdy and easy to seal. Semi-frameless designs have less frame and a lighter look. Glass comes in clear, frosted for privacy, or striped.

04

How do I measure?

Measure the space wall to wall at both the floor and head height, and note where the drain is. Compare these with the length, width and height in the listing. Walls are rarely perfectly square, so allow for adjustment.

What else should I know?

  • Most of our enclosures include a header, door handles and, on about half, magnetic door seals.
  • We recommend a licensed plumber for installation.
  • Shower stalls are large, heavy items: delivery is free and can take 4-8 weeks, and the estimate for your address is shown at checkout.
